NSA Datamining - Another Non-Story

I would HOPE that the Bush Administration has been doing this. The real story isn't that the NSA gathers phone numbers to see if they match calls to and from known terrorists numbers. USA Today wants you to believe there's something nefarious about that. There isn't. In fact, it's common sense. No, the real important story is who in the NSA (or some other government office) leaked this secret program to the press (again).

President Bush should have cleaned house when he came to Washington, D.C. in 2001. Let this be a lesson to future Republican administrations. Plug these kinds of leaks and punish the leakers swiftly and severely.
