The Senate Sells Us Up the River

The U.S. Senate passed a comprehensive, uh "Immigration Reform" Bill today. Riiiight. So comprehensive and so popular with the American people that most of the senators up for reelection in competitive races this year didn't even vote for it. Of course Sen. McCain thinks this is one of the greatest achievements in the history of the Senate. Riiiight.

Here is a breakdown of the votes for this terrible bill. Yep, those guys and gals really have their act together over there, don't they. What will McCain and his buddies think of next? Maybe they can find a way to restrict free speech around election time.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.
